Tamsulosin vs Finasteride: use, side effects & effectiveness

Tamsulosin and finasteride are the two most common drugs licensed and used to manage benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). BPH is a condition characterised by an enlarged prostate, which may produce common symptoms such as increased urgency to urinate, poor urinary flow (difficult to start urination), increased urination at night (polyuria) and incomplete bladder emptying (individuals going back to the toilet few times because they feel they need to pee). Estimated 17% of people with HIV are not aware of the infection (NICE, 2016), increasing the risk of passing HIV when having sex without protection. Truvada (emtricitabine/tenofovir disoproxil) is an antiviral drug used in the treatment of HIV, alone or as part of antiviral combination therapy. New Generic SILDENAFIL Over The Counter by Perrigo

Recently launched generic sildenafil 50mg tablets by Perrigo brings a broader choice for patients who seek over the counter (OTC) treatment of erectile disjunction. After Viagra Connect and Aronix sildenafil, sildenafil (Perrigo) is a third option for sildenafil, which can be bought from a pharmacy without a prescription. Certain restrictions apply to the supply of sildenafil 50mg, such as minimum age for the use. Patients may be required to go through a screening checklist with a pharmacist. The screening questionnaire looks at the overall health of the patient requesting sildenafil, concomitant medications taken, as discussed in detail in this post.

Tesco sildenafil: how to get Tesco “Viagra”?

Originally, this post described a private service offered by Tesco called erectile dysfunction service, to obtain sildenafil 50mg without a prescription. Last year (01/04/2020) this service was discontinued, mainly due to the availability of over the counter sildenafil, which is now sold as Viagra Connect, with much simpler requirements for the sale to patients. Customers who ask to buy Viagra Connect need to complete a screening questionnaire unless they have previously done it. Each Viagra Connect contains 50mg of sildenafil. Recently, Tesco launched their generic version of ‘Viagra’, which you can learn more about.

Aronix sildenafil – a NEW, CHEAP Erectile Dysfunction Pill

A new brand of sildenafil drug used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction(ED) has been launched. Aronix (sildenafil) is classified as a pharmacy-only medication (P), available without a prescription from a pharmacy or registered online pharmacies. Aronix is not the first pharmacy medication available without a prescription for the treatment of ED. Viagra Connect has been available since 2018 as over the counter pharmacy medication; however, what is exciting about Aronix is the price, which is much lower as compared to Viagra Connect.
